Dr. Davison is a PhD trained Social Epidemiologist and global health researcher with a primary appointment in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen’s University. She has diverse methodological training and experience and primarily uses mixed- and community-based participatory research methods to support health equity.
Dr. Davison is an advocate for child health and child rights internationally and is founding member of ARCH - a research collaborative for global health equity (www.queens.ca/ARCH). She has experience working as a consultant or intern with PAHO-WHO, UNICEF-Mongolia, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research, the National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health among others.
