In addition to working in academic emergency medicine at KHSC, Dr. Blackmore is a community-based emergency physician in Trenton.  She is actively involved in teaching simulation-based education for family medicine and CCFP-EM residents at Queen's University, as well as simulation education courses for community and rural physicians (RuralResuscitation.com).  She is involved in an upcoming research project assessing a brief exercise intervention for low back pain in the ER.  Outside of the ER, she is usually travelling or on her biked exploring all things Prince Edward County.
