I’m thrilled to be returning to Queen’s – now as a POCUS fellow and Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine.  Since graduating from Queen’s for both my CCFP and my CCFP(EM), I worked in a busy community Emergency Department and spent the last six months as the Medical Director and Chief of Emergency Medicine at Quinte Health Care. During this time, I was also working as a Family Physician locally, in Kingston.

Alongside my POCUS fellowship, I will be working towards completing my Master’s of Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Before coming to Queen’s, I lived and worked in the United Kingdom, where I attended the University of Birmingham and did some postgraduate training around the West and East Midlands. During my time in England, my colleagues and I created a national teaching course, which is still highly attended today.

My interests include POCUS (obviously!) both in the Emergency Department, but also in other clinical settings as well as clinical/medical education.

When I’m not at work, I’m going on fun adventures with my husband and our very lively labradoodle, Leo!
