Dr. Khala Albert is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Queen's and practices full-time clinical emergency medicine at Kingston Health Sciences Centre.
After completing both her MD and subsequent FRCPC EM training at Queen's in 2014, Dr. Albert re-located to Victoria, BC where she was heavily involved with both undergraduate and postgraduate education as a Clinical Assistant Professor with UBC.
Dr. Albert has also completed an MPH degree at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has recently completed Physician Quality Improvement training and has a particular interest in ED utilization patterns and flow.
Outside of work, Khala enjoys being outside, jogging and spending time with her two daughters.
