Dr. Brent Wolfrom is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. He completed his medical school at the University of Saskatchewan and residency at the University of Ottawa. He has worked as Medical Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, deploying on numerous overseas missions and was awarded a Chief of Defence Staff Commendation for his leadership in prehospital care during one of his tours to Afghanistan.
Dr. Wolfrom’s academic work has included both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, including Postgraduate Program Director in the Department of Family Medicine. His interests include medical education admissions and selection, curriculum development and reform, occupational medicine and veterans’ health.
In his spare time he enjoys cooking, running and working outdoors.
